Letter from the President:
As most of you know, the NANB website has been down for what seems like forever. Thanks to Leonard, out in Colorado, the site is up and running again. Thanks again, Leonard. (note from Leonard: he has to say thanks because good help, who will work for free, is hard to find.) Thank you, Carol at Cherokee, for recommending www.parageeks.com. John had us up, running and ready to publish to the new servers in less than an hour. As you can see from the website, the NANB Rally is being held again this year at Cherokee Lodge. If inquiries are an indicator, this will be the biggest rally ever. Events for the weekend are listed on the “Rally Information” and “Rally Entertainment” pages. We have a weekend of events planned some old, some new, and all fun. There are three bands scheduled to play …. tunes will be cranking a weekend! The last time I checked-in with the office at Cherokee, all lodging facilities are booked. There are still plenty of camping sites available. Ground and camping fees are on the “Cherokee Lodging and Fees” page. Give a big “Hell Yes” to the new owners of Cherokee Lodge. They have been great at working with us to make the rally this year a huge success. Just a small story to share with all of you. A few months ago Leonard put a link to Google Maps on the website giving directions to my new home. The other day I was sitting under my apple trees, and heard some bikes coming down the road. They stopped at the end of the driveway then pulled in. When they got off their bikes they asked if this was the NANB Headquarters. They had been looking for more details on the rally, and since the website was down, they rode out to get information first hand. We had a good visit and are looking forward to getting together at the rally. Ride safe and hope to see you at the rally July 25-27 !!!
